WhatsApp users can now add music to their status updates following the feature's rollout.
In a statement dated Friday, May 2, WhatsApp noted that users can add music by clicking on the music icon located among the top icons on the status updates.
"Whatever you’re sharing on your status, you can now use music to match your mood. Just tap the music note icon when creating your status," read the statement in part.
Initially, the feature was rolled out for iPhone users. However, Android users in Kenya can now access the feature.
