The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a wide range of tender opportunities for companies and service providers seeking to participate in the organisation of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
According to a notice issued on Friday, August 28, the opportunities cover key areas of tournament operations, including ticketing, transport, accommodation, broadcasting, accreditation, venue access, technology, branding, ceremonies, photography and workforce management.
CAF said qualified firms interested in participating in the procurement process are invited to submit their proposals in accordance with the requirements outlined in the respective requests for proposals (RFPs).
"CAF invites qualified companies and service providers to join the official tender process for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda," the notice read.
Among the available tenders are end-to-end ticketing services, integrated transport services, hotels and accommodation services, infotainment, venue access management solutions, accreditation printing materials and accessories, and access control hardware and equipment.

Other opportunities include host broadcast services, crew services, transmission services, accreditation management systems, language services, on-site TV graphics, and workforce and volunteer management solutions.
CAF has also opened tenders for pitch and floodlight expertise, testing, monitoring, training and technical support services, photography, branding and signage, and pre-match ceremonies.
Further opportunities cover apartments and accommodation services, as well as player and team tracking cameras, Semi-Automated Offside Technology (SAOT), goal-line technology, live data, fitness data and match tactical data services.
The tender list also includes VAR services, teams and medical extra services, information systems, announcement systems, RefCam services and a technical/TSG report tool.
"CAF kindly requests you to submit your Proposals for subject tender (by email) in accordance with the RFP instructions, no later than: 16 September 2026, 17:00 (Cairo time). Email for submission: [email protected]," the notice added.
CAF said responses to inquiries will be communicated to bidders who have submitted their Letters of Interest (LOI) within the stipulated process.
"CAF will respond to all received queries and share responses with all bidders who have early submitted LOI (Doc 03. LOI )," the notice further read.
CAF further reminded prospective bidders that compliance with the documentation requirements will be essential when submitting their proposals.
"Kindly ensure that all mandatory registration documents and compliance forms are submitted as part of your offer," the notice concluded.

This comes days after CAF held a high-level review of the readiness of the three East African host nations.
The meeting, which was chaired by CAF Acting General Secretary Samson Adamu, brought together officials from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya joined his counterparts from Uganda and Tanzania in the high-level meeting of the PAMOJA Oversight Council with CAF leadership.
"During a high-level meeting of the PAMOJA Oversight Council with the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF), the Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Hon. Salim Mvurya, joined his counterparts from Uganda and Tanzania in reviewing the collective preparedness of the three Host Nations and aligning the next phase of delivery towards PAMOJA AFCON 2027," read the statement in part.
During the meeting, Mvurya and his counterparts from Uganda and Tanzania assured CAF of their commitment to operationalizing the proposed PAMOJA Visa Framework.
According to the Ministry of Sports, each of the host nations has assessed the requirements within its jurisdiction and committed to implementing the necessary measures.
"Among the key agenda items was the PAMOJA Visa Framework and cross-border mobility, where CS Mvurya joined his counterparts in assuring CAF of the three Governments' commitment to advancing and operationalizing the proposed framework," the ministry stated.
The framework is intended to facilitate seamless movement of fans, participating teams, officials, accredited media, sponsors, suppliers and other tournament stakeholders across Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
It is also expected to provide immigration and customs facilitation and movement of tournament-related goods and equipment.
