Rapper King Kaka yesterday, September 20, appreciated and celebrated his wife Nana Owiti for taking care of him during his illness.

Taking to Facebook, the "Wajinga Nyinyi" hitmaker narrated how he had endured a tough three months while sick. He noted the effort Nana put into ensuring he was on the right path to recovery.

"Let me count my blessings. The last 3 months has been nothing short but terrifying , This lady here Nana Owiti has shown and proven what a wife and a best friend is.

"From kulala kwa couch ya hospitali next to my bed then you wake up shower in the same hospital , go and smile kwa TV like everything is okay," he wrote.

King Kaka paid gratitude to the meedical practitioners that took care of him while he was hospitalised.

"...to fighting with Nurses on why they are ‘slow’ (Big Up to the Nurses who took care of me , ni vile Nana alikuwa anataka nipone haraka) , to praying and encouraging me to eat, to sponge-bathing me when the temperatures were too high.

"I am currently walking on that road to recovery but I pray that God guides you and grants you all your hearts’ wishes & Desires," King Kaka stated.

"Just leant the new meaning of the word ‘Partner’ in a relationship. Be blessed and Asante Nana," he noted.

On September 13, King Kaka shared images of himself, revealing to fans that he had been hospitalised for three months and lost up to 33Kgs.

He told his fans to always pray for good health, noting that being in and out of hospital is not easy.

"Hospitali ceilings are really boring, always pray for good health," he wrote.

King Kaka revealed that his condition worsened when he was misdiagnosed.

"I was misdiagnosed. Lost 33kgs and in the process, we started hospital visits. Did all the tests and they were negative. Funny thing is I feel no pain and we are still hopeful we will get the solution soon," he shared.

At the time, he also thanked his wife for taking care of him and sticking by him through the sickness.
