Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has announced free entry for Kenyans to the Burning Spear concert at Uhuru Park.

According to a poster by the Governor, the concert of the international artist will be held today - Saturday, November 2.

Those interested in attending were notified that the concert would begin at noon and end at 6 PM.

Also to feature at the concert will be the Dohty Family group.

Therefore, the county boss called on Kenyans especially city residents to take advantage of the concert to have fun with their friends and families. 

"Governor Sakaja Presents the Burning Spear One People Africa Tour on Saturday, 2nd November 2024," read the poster in part.

"Performance by Burning Spear featuring Dohty Family at Uhuru Park from noon to 6 PM. Entry is free."

Burning Spear is known internationally for his reggae hits including Not Stupid, Love Garvey, and Columbus.

The artist is also behind the One Way and Help Us hit songs.
