Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and his ex-girlfriend Lillian Nganga took the country by surprise after they announced that they were parting ways as lovers, after nine years of making Kenyans believe that they were married.
In her post, Lillian said she had also stepped down as the Machakos County First lady but would continue with projects she had started.
They both said that despite their separation they would remain friends but things later took a different turn with claims of infidelity and the governor had taken away her car. The case is still on court.
Meanwhile, Lillian found love elsewhere and is currently dating rapper Juliani.

Michelle Ntalami recently confirmed that she had indeed broken up with her girlfriend Makena Njeri.
The lesbian couple was public about their relationship judging from the intimate photos of them on social media.
Ntalami while speaking about their breakup in a lengthy statement on Instagram cited serial infidelity with multiple women as the reason for them parting ways.
She said the two ladies Makena allegedly cheated with had confirmed their affairs with her.

Sonie alleged that they agreed to part ways for reasons best known to them, thanking their fans for the love they showed them for the past 4 years.
She also wished Mulamwah well in his future endeavors, stating that she was grateful for the memories they created together.

Kenyan singer KRG the Don recently opened up about breaking up with his wife and mother to his two sons.
According to KRG, people knew about the breakup recently, but they have not been together since April 2021. He said the wife has been living with his mother since then.
KRG accused his wife of cheating on him multiple times and he claims to have evidence of the same.
The divorce process is ongoing.
