Renowned comedian and radio personality Mulamwah has announced his departure from Milele FM after two years. 

In an update on Tuesday, February 25, Mulamwah revealed that his contract with Mediamax Networks Ltd had come to an end and that both parties could not agree on renewal terms 

Nonetheless, he expressed gratitude to his colleagues and the station’s management for the job opportunity.

“It was a nice run. We finally part ways with Milele FM and Mediamax Networks Ltd. Our contract has come to an end, and we could not agree on renewal terms. Thank you to my colleagues and the management for the years of work. I have gained invaluable experience and learned a lot," he said.

Despite leaving radio, Mulamwah assured his fans that he is not stepping away from entertainment entirely, teasing new projects including a YouTube show and a stand-up comedy special.  

“To all Konki fans, this is not the end. We will still meet on many other platforms. A new YouTube show is on the way, along with a Mulamwah stand-up special (limited tickets available), plus many more exciting plans in store,” he added.

In May 2022, Mulamwah, announced that he had joined Milele FM as a radio presenter, expressing his excitement in a social media post.

"God is great, finally on the radio – Milele FM. It has always been my dream to one day be on the radio, thanks to all my fans who always believed in me and supported me in my craft from scratch. To everyone else out there, always do you.

"It doesn’t matter what people say or think about your art, just focus and give your best and let God work on the rest. Hoping for the best & longevity in this new career. Tune in and experience mulamwah in a whole new dimension. Blessings. I love yah," he said at the time.
