Kiss FM morning show presenter Kamene Goro has angered Kenyans on social media after posting an insensitive joke on her Instagram account.
"Mental health na hamna akili," the post on her Instagram account which has over 1 million followers read.
The joke, posted as a photo, has since been deleted.
Kenyans criticised the radio presenter with the post discounting mental health and people suffering from mental health issues.
Hours after she posted the photo, Kamene Goro was the number one trending topic in the country on Thursday as Kenyans on Twitter called her out for misuse of social media.

One of Kenya's most active Twitter users Bravin Yuri, a mental health advocate, criticised Kamene terming her post 'distasteful' and asked her to post her platform better.

"Posts like the one Kamene Goro made accompanied by the Jokes made by Comedians about stammering are distasteful. They do more damage than good. When you are a public figure, you should be able to condemn mental health Stigma not support it. Do better," Yuri wrote
Other users went overboard as they body-shamed the plus size media personality.
Osama Otero asked Kamene Goro to apologize for her post which she is yet to do.
Another Kenyan on Twitter noted that mental health had become a serious issue and Kamene should have used her large audience to advocate for mental health.
Owich Brio claimed that the post may have been a clout chasing attempt by Ms Goro.
