Kenyan comedy star Eric Omondi has spread his wings to the south as he filled 40,000 seats at Uhuru Stadium in Dar Es Salaam on Saturday for a show.
The self-styled 'President of Comedy Africa' attracted the mammoth crowd for a comedy show as he kicked off the first leg of the 'Eric Omondi Stadium Tour TZ'.

Videos from the event show mammoth crowds cheering Omondi as he entered the stadium in a Toyota Crown surrounded by burly bodyguards.
For the show, Eric Omondi chose to go retro as he dressed in snakeskin cowboy boots with a matching grey palazzo.
The look was complemented by black designer pants.
This comes just a day after posting his Ksh 3 million earnings from the show as he clashed with Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) boss Ezekiel Mutua.
Muta had earlier gone on the offensive against Eric Omondi claiming on national television that the comedian was broke and was only chasing clout by 'giving' musician Bahati Ksh 200,000 to compensate his loss of KFCB sponsorship.
Eric Omondi went ahead to state that he would ensure the KFCB boss was kicked out of the body by September 2021.
