Rapper Khaligraph Jones has called out Kenya Film Classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua asking him to respect talent.
His remarks come a few days after Mutua in an interview said that Kenyan artistes are poor as he responded to comedian Eric Omondi’s claim that he would give singer Bahati money to sponsor his album launch after KFCB pulled out its Sh200,000 sponsorship.
According to Papa Jones, he was disappointed by Mutua’s remarks and he hopes the issue between them will be resolved as soon as possible.
“Heshimu Kipaji. Had a short Conversation with my Friend @ericomondi concerning the current situation in Our Industry, I was Really disappointed by remarks made by some high government top Ranked official. Hopefully we will resolve the situation. Watch this Space. #respecttheogs,” said Khaligraph Jones who also shared a video of himself flaunting bundles of cash.

On Thursday, Ezekiel Mutua said Omondi was poor and suffering just like other artistes, adding that his words were only theatrics and this is what gets artistes depressed.
“Hao watu wote ni Maskini wa kusaidiwa, hakuna pesa wanawezatoa. Mbona hakuwa amempatia mbeleni, angojee sisi, tuondoe ndo yeye atoe. Omodni hana hata mia hat elfu kumi ya kupatia watu. Wasanii wanaumi nayeye ni muombaji na sarakasi tu na hizo sarakasi ndo zinawanya waende into depression. They want to play big, kuonyesha they are big na hawako sawa. We talk to them, we know them, we know their records and their accounts. We know how they operate and who is making money” said Ezekiel Mutua in an interview with Milele FM.
