Renowned Kenyan media personality Betty Kyallo has opened up how her relationship with current boyfriend Nick Ndeda came to be, noting that she sent him a Direct Message (DM) on social media and the rest is history.
Speaking during an interview with TV 47, Betty noted that she does not shy off from making the first move, adding that in her current relationship, Nick made the first move, but she was not ready for him.
Betty further noted that when she was ready, she made the move, adding that she is happy she got what she wanted.
“Of course, who hasn’t? In this day and age there is so many ways to meet people… I slid in the DM of somebody and its working out… I believe women should not shy away from shooting their shot, I choose who I want to be with…For me I chose and got what I wanted. I think women should not shy away from choosing, choose who you want, who said you have to be chosen?” she posed.

“He had approached me a couple of times, but when I was ready, I did the approaching. But he did first and it was nice and beautiful. When I was ready for him, I approached, I did it a time that I felt I was ready to do it and I got what I wanted,” she added.
During the interview, Betty also addressed a wide range of issues including handling social media trolls, receiving nasty photos in her DM, and fashion among others.
She also thanked her fans for supporting her all through, noting that she wouldn’t be where she is now without them.
