This amazing couple's Muthaiga home boasts an amazing architectural design, décor and a scenic view of the Karura Forest.

At the peak of every aspiration, is a comfortable home for one to retire to. However, the disparity in life achievements has often separated a simple house from an epic home.

Kenya's posh estates are home to some of the most exclusively designed houses and in this instance, the Omides, Will and Janet's Muthaiga home fit just the bill.

In an episode aired by YouTube channel The Wedding and Home, a tour around Will and Janet's sanctuary home reveals the amazing architecture put into building the multimillion mansion.

Located in Muthaiga, the home boasts a serene view of the Karura Forest, a quiet background, with an ooze of breeze from the leafy surroundings.

For a couple that has been married 20 years, amazing features installed in the house offers them the best environment to enjoy each other's company.

First, the house has an indoor exclusive chapel. This is where the family congregates to give their thanks to the most high and have their quiet moments with God. It is furnished with wooden, cushioned seats and an altar.

"During the 2007/2008 clashes, my husband and I went to the Maasai Mara. And when we were there I saw this photo on a newspaper and I told God, give me this house in Muthaiga which is my dream. I will build a chapel in the house.

"When we got the house I built the chapel. Something that I promised God," Janet stated.

"When we were building the design we were able to incorporate this chapel where we come and have quiet moments with our Lord," Will added.

Boasting two floors, the house has a spiral staircase livened up by a number of colourful paintings and classy chandeliers to lighten it up.

Leading up to the living room, the all-white painted interior comes to life with a combo of creamish-brown coloured couches with a number of paintings hanging on the walls.

The dining area has two tables, one direct from the living room and sits at the base of a Christ's last supper artwork, the other is closer to the panes, with a view of the green backyard.

The couple credit each other with the amazing décor done in the house, stating that though the architect did an amazing job with the drawing, even he doesn't know what went where.

Will and Janet concede to enjoying each other's company, and that they had tailored the design and decoration of the house to provide maximum comfort for them.

"When I'm done with work I just want to come home. I don't want to go for dinner, lunch or what. We enjoy each other's company. We love having our tea in the yard, we love to have our dinners at home, and watch our movies at home," Janet narrated.

"I want to give credit to my husband because most of the work that went into this house is by his effort. Making sure things are aligned, all that was his work. Mine was just what I think about the place," she added.

The house also has a special lounge where the couple enjoys their quiet time. It is out of bounds for everybody else. It has a television set where they can watch movies and a meal.

The lounge has a direct view of the Karura forest offering a serene scenery for the couple to sit and enjoy.

Will and Janet have a spacious all-white themed master bedroom with a direct view of their backyard.

In the backyard, other than the scenic view, there is a private swimming pool, well maintained, and a cool relaxation spot for the family.

The home has an indoor gymnasium equipped with a treadmill, weights, and several other fitness equipment. This is where the couple exercises and maintains fitness.

Though a house may appear easy to construct, Will stated that several factors come into play for one to have a perfect home. In his case, his view, his wife's and children's were key in settling for the right designs and decors.
