  • The three; Jonathan, Rachel and Emmanuel Chebukati have each built a name for themselves away from their father's shadow
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman is arguably one of the most criticized public officials in the country.

Being the head of the poll's body, he is always on the receiving end of criticism from persons who feel that elections were not conducted transparently.

While many only see him as IEBC Chair, Chebukati is also a husband and a father. Early this week while responding to a statement by President William Ruto praising him for overseeing a credible presidential election in August 2022, Chebukati introduced two of his three little-known children.

"On behalf of IEBC & myself, I wish to thank President William Ruto for recognizing IEBC Kenya for having raised the bar of integrity and the standard of public service in Kenya. I feel proud to have made my contribution towards strengthening democracy in Kenya. God bless Kenya," Chebukati stated while he thanked his family.
