Kenya and the Czech Republic have pledged to enhance their bilateral relations and exploit existing investment opportunities in the two countries.
President Ruto said the two countries will soon sign a negotiated economic agreement that will see Kenya access duty-free and quota-free markets.
The Head of State mentioned that the two nations will build partnerships that will intensify cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
Speaking at State House, Nairobi, when he held bilateral talks with Czech Republic Prime Minister Petr Fiala, President Ruto argued that an equal partnership was paramount for mutual benefits.
“Your Excellency, I wish to congratulate you for launching the “Look Africa Policy”. Africa is a continent rich in natural resources, ranging from land, water, oil, natural gas, and other minerals,” President Ruto stated.

He added, "Establishing a commercial hub in Kenya will offer access to the demands of the greater market in the region and Africa.”
Prof Fiala was accompanied by Czech investors who are keen on exploring investment opportunities in Kenya.
The Head of State announced that Kenya would work with the Czech Republic to facilitate organised labour mobility between the two countries.
“Kenya has a young and skilled labour force in the health, business, educational and industrial sectors that can offer skilled labour if needed in your country,” remarked Fiala.
