Former KTN political reporter Emmanuel Too has joined Citizen TV.

Former KTN political reporter Emmanuel Too has joined the Royal Media-owned Citizen TV.

In a statement on Wednesday, June 19, by Royal Media Services Editorial Director Linus Kaikai, Too joined the station together with Francis Odee, an investigative journalist at KTN, and former KTN political reporter Willy Lusige.

"We are excited to introduce and welcome to our RMS fraternity seasoned reporters Emmanuel Too, Francis Odee, and Willy Lusige. Welcome to Citizen TV Kenya!" Kaikai posted on X.

Too on Tuesday, June 18, took to his social media handles to share a photo of himself holding a microphone branded Citizen TV with the caption, "One Day to Day One. To new beginnings. Mungu mbele."

The reporter had announced his exit from Standard Media Group-owned KTN in early June after being at the station for five years since 2019.

"Some Personal news: Fellow citizens, today was my last day working for Standard Group PLC (KTN News). I thank God, the Company, all my managers, and colleagues for the stories shared, connections made, and lessons learned over the past five years. See you soon! God bless," he posted on X.

On the other hand, Lusige left KTN on Friday, November 3, 2023, after being at the station for 6 years.

The development comes after Olive Burrows joined the Citizen TV station in May from NTV to replace Victoria Rubadiri, who left the station to join CNN.
