Media personality Shiksha Arora has joined TV47 days after she left Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
In an advertisement, the Cape Media-owned station revealed that Arora has joined its team.
The veteran media personality had her last show at KBC on Friday, July 19, after spending three years at the national television station.
In her farewell message, Arora thanked her now former colleagues at the station, as well as her fans who tuned in to watch her show dubbed #EasyFriday.
"My heart is overflowing with emotions as I type this. It’s hard to say goodbye to a workplace that I called home for 3 years & colleagues who have become like family. Thank you to everyone who joined me on this incredible journey on #EasyFriday on KBC for the past 3 years," she stated.

She recounted her time at the station, adding that her departure was not the end of a show but the beginning of a new chapter.
"We’ve laughed, danced, cried, and grew together on KBC TV. This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited for. As I say goodbye to KBC, join me tonight at 9 PM, one last time on Easy Friday!" Arora added.
Before joining KBC, she worked as a TV presenter at K24. She has also previously worked with Radio Africa Group as a radio presenter and the BBC.
Arora holds a Masters Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Westminster, London.
