Citizen TV Sports Anchor Bernard Ndong has quit the station after 13 years of service.

"Up to this time, I am not sure if I have scripted the best words to say as you leave. It has been a journey since you joined the sports desk," Mike Okinyi, his sports editor, said in part in his farewell message.
His close colleague Mukami Wambora also had warm regards for him.
"I am not a trained journalist. I just have a passion for sports. When I came to the desk you pushed me to my best and enabled me to learn scripting and other tenets of journalism as quick as possible," she said.
Here is the video of his farewell:
For Citizen TV political editor Francis Gachuri, the sports desk will never be the same without Ndong.
"You will be missed. It is painful to see you go but at the same time, we are happy with your growth. The times we share together for commentaries on issues will be missed," Gachuri said.
It is not clear where Ndong is heading though preliminary reports indicate that he will be joining another TV station.
It is unclear yet whether it is a local TV station or international.
