A message by singer Juliani asking for financial upkeep to enable him to provide for his family has thrown Kenyans into confusion.
The tweet made on Wednesday, September 21, first stated that the singer was in financial distress and even provided a pay bill number through which Kenyans can contribute money.
"Wase! Nikubaya niko broke! mtoi anahitaji pampers. Please send mpesa. Chochote unaeza itasaidia. Yours truly, Struggling rapper/entrepreneur," he tweeted.
Apparently, Juliani was responding to a critic with the message after they called him a struggling rapper.
The critic had labelled him a sufferer.

The same account later tweeted asking Kenyans to disregard the message, what he termed as "never believe anything that comes online".
"Please treat this message with contempt like the rest that keeps coming your way. Never believe what's online," the tweet stated.
The contradicting messages have left Kenyans wondering whether Juliani is indeed in financial distress or his account has been hacked.
Juliani being a singer has recently not shown a sign of being broke.
He is married to Lilian Ng'ang'a, the ex-wife of Former Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, and they have a child together.
Ng'ang'a has investments worth millions, including a hotel she co-owns with Mutua.
It is almost impossible to believe that Juliani can seek financial held to help raise his family considering the couple can support each other financially.
It is a matter of wait and see to establish what really transpired.
