Speaking during the launch, Msalame noted that Mali Living will have five premium collections drawn from top global manufacturers such as Seagull, Seiko, and Hattori.
According to information on Mali's website, Msalame decided to establish the company after having difficulties with luxury products that met her requirements.
The target audience is anyone interested in acquiring easily accessible luxurious lifestyle products at an affordable price.
"I created Mali to make luxury and incredible craftsmanship easily accessible to today's woman and man of style," Msalame said.
To give it a local touch, some of the available collection has been branded with the word Mali - which is a Swahili phrase for Wealth.
On his part, Jeff appreciated being a part of the Mali Living enterprise and showcased some of their products.
"We are happy to introduce the new Mali Collection. Designed with simplicity, elegance and built for sophistication. Experience Luxury and Celebrate Yourself," he posted.
The luxury business is very competitive, but the team believes they can get a big piece of the cake owing to quality of product, pricing and strategy.
Msalame now joins a growing list of media personalities who are also own business ventures. The list includes Julie Gichuru, Alex Chamwada, Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwour alias Jalang'o and Citizen TV news anchors and celebrity couple Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla among others.
