Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has told his Boss President William Ruto not to accept to have a handshake with Opposition leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking on Sunday, January 29, during the Interdenominational church service, Ole Ntimama Stadium, Narok County, Gachagua said that the only discussion President Ruto should have with Raila is his permanent retirement from Kenyan politics.
"Do not accept to have a handshake with him, but if you meet with him because he is a Kenyan citizen, you should have only one discussion, to discuss his exit from politics and permanent retirement from the politics of Kenya. That you have our support," Gachagua stated.
The Deputy President noted that the ODM leader should stay away from the Government and execute his oversight role.

Odinga also hit out at Gachagua warning him that he could not be threatened.
"He (Rigathi Gachagua) asked his boss to deal with me. Every time he claims that he is the son of Mau Mau, I want to tell him he was not yet born when Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was defending Mau Mau in Prison.
“Gachagua has no respect, he doesn't know where we have come from, even Nyayo could not threaten me," Odinga said.
