Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula has hit back at ODM leader Raila Odinga for claiming that he and IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati have married from the same homes.
Raila made the remarks at Jacaranda Grounds on Sunday where he sustained attacks on President William Ruto accusing them of stealing his victory.
He at the same time argued that Justice Aggrey Muchelule who is the one chairing a tribunal probing Commissioner Masit has also married in the same home as Chebukati.
"Bwana Chebukati na Muchelule ni mwanyumba. Yaani bibi zao ni dada na mke wa Wetang'ula ametoka hapo hapo ...Wetang'ula, Chebukati and Muchelule are brothers-in-law," he said suggesting that election rigging involved a wider syndicate.

In a tweet after Raila made the remarks at Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi on Sunday, Wetangula questioned Raila on why him being relatives with Chebukati did not help him clinch the presidency the times he supported him.
He accused Raila of making excuses to justify his election loss insinuating that could not work this time round.
"Raila Odinga in the 2017 General/Presidential election I was your partner in NASA. If being Chebukati relative in 2022 mattered, it must have equally mattered then. Excuses and blame games too, have limits! Soon they will be acircus," Wetangula tweeted. Raila and Wetangula were coalition partners in the 2017 General Elections.
The first presidential election was nullified by the Supreme Court while they boycotted the second.
