Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has raised concern over the lack of youth in the team selected to represent Azimio in the Bipartisan talks in parliament.
In a statement on Thursday, April 6, the legislator wished the Azimio team well but seemed to question why a youth was not part of the seven members selected.
Owino argued that the youth has been a the forefront of the Azimio demos with some maimed and killed in the process.
"A team has been set up to Represent Azimio in the Bipartisan talks. I wish them well. However, it would have been more effective and efficient if a youth was part of the team because it’s the youth who are killed, maimed, and still at the forefront in the struggle," he said.
