ODM Leader Raila Odinga has asked President William Ruto not to burden Kenyans with extra taxes saying it is no longer tenable.
Speaking during the burial of Mama Mukami Kimathi, the wife to freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi, Raila said the truth must be told to power at the earliest time possible.
Raila said as the opposition, they are keen on ensuring the needs of Kenyans are prioritised.
"We must speak truth to power. Hapana ogopa, unaogopa nini? Sisi kama wana Azimio si wendawazimu. Tunaweza kuelewana.

Raila was speaking at the funeral attended by President Ruto, deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi.
