Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has advised President William Ruto to embrace using vague statements to avoid being ridiculed by Kenyans on Twitter (KOT).
Ngunyi in a tweet on Friday, June 2 told President Ruto that it is hectic to deal with KOT saying they always ridicule a clear-headed President.
He reminded the Head of State of how former President Uhuru Kenyatta was forced to quit social media over being ridiculed.
“Dear Ruto: Stories like Mtukukufu Lies are what made Uhuru Kenyatta quit social media. Dealing with KOT is like herding cats. Hectic and it will only get worse. Your best bet is to embrace vagueness like Kibaki. A clear-headed president is always a target for ridicule,” Ngunyi stated.

President Ruto has been trending on Twitter after he announced that the government is developing a mechanism that will enable boda-boda riders to get electric motorbikes.
Speaking on Thursday during the Madaraka Day celebrations in Embu County, President Ruto said boda boda riders will be able to access the electric bikes from September 2023.
“By September this year we will have a mechanism where you can get your boda boda that does not need petrol will be run by electricity, and is financed by not a predatory system but one that respects the interests of those who purchase the boda bodas,” he stated.
However, the promise did not sit well with KOT who ridiculed him for giving many promises that are yet to be delivered.
