The New Life Prayer Center and Church headed by Pastor Ezekiel is set to extend its ministry reach to Kisii.
The televangelist was in the county to lay ground for the construction of a mega church which will be under the stewardship of his younger brother Gillack Odero.
The church will seat on a 13-acre tract in Mosocho.
Speaking during the groundbreaking fete, Ezekiel said his brother would steward the upcoming church by virtue of being a gospel minister, thus addressing concerns over conflict of interest.
"I don't see him as a brother. He's a minister of God. There is no brother or sister in the gospel ministry. If you do something in terms of brother and sister then you won't go far," he said.

Ezekiel was accompanied by his legal team led by Danstan Omari.
Ezekiel recently found himself in collision with the state over alleged indoctrination of the faithful in his church.
The preacher was arrested in April and his church consequently closed.
Coast Regional Commissioner Rhodah Onyancha confirmed the arrest.
She said Ezekiel was arrested in Mavueni, Kilifi county.
"We have arrested Pastor Ezekiel Odero at Mavueni in Kilifi county on allegations of deaths that have been occurring at his premises. We have taken action to close down the prayer centre," Onyancha said.
"We are urging the public that the prayer centre has been closed down. We will give updates as we continue with investigations."
The religious leader was taken to the Coast Police Regional Headquarters where he was held as the investigators embarked on their probe.
The arrest came after Ezekiel had been grilled over his church engaging in cultism.
He was questioned over alleged deaths in his church.
He denied the indoctrination accusations presented against him during the grilling.
The arrest came even as the probe into the Kilifi cult linked to Pastor Paul Mackenzie of Good News International Church continued.
