A fire incident was Monday afternoon reported in the Mathare slums area, in Nairobi County.

Nairobi Leo has learnt that the fire incident occurred in the Moradi area.

"A fire outbreak has been reported in the Moradi area in Mathare, Nairobi County. The county fire brigade is en route and RCAT is at the scene. More updates to follow," Kenya Red Cross said in a tweet.

A video shared by the Kenya Red Cross showed the fire brigade at the scene trying to contain the situation.
