Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has now urged Kenyans to strategically grow crops through which they shall profit from the industrial parks launched by the Ministry of Trade.
Speaking in Nyeri County on Friday, Pastor Dorcas told Kenyans to visualize the changes the industrial parks launched by the government would bring to the country and prepare to benefit as suppliers of different products, including consumables.
“The industrial parks launched by the Ministry of Trade will create a demand for farm products to produce juices, jams, tomato sauce, and other products. Start aligning your farm produce so you can benefit from the industrial parks,” said Pastor Dorcas.
At Giathugu, she launched the vocational training program, a partnership of the NGCDF and KCB Foundation, whose first cohort would comprise 520 beneficiaries.

She also urged the youth to embrace farming and be the answer to food security in the country.
The wife of the Deputy President decried the aging population of farmers in Kenya, saying that farming must be rebranded for the youth to embrace it as an economic activity for income generation and prosperity.
Pastor Dorcas also launched the Tana and Athi Rivers Development Authority (TARDA) Tree Planting at the Kanyama Borehole Site in Mathira East.
