Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi now wants the Judicial Service Commission to apologise following the alleged mistreatment of the Law Society of Kenya members in Mombasa on Thursday.
In a statement on his X account on Friday, Ahemdnasir accused JSC of treating lawyers in a condescending manner even when they are raising genuine concerns.
"Because we lawyers are orphans with no representation, male or female in the JSC, it has become the norm for the JSC under the leadership of CJ Koome to treat our genuine, valid and urgent concern with contempt and ridicule," Ahmednasir said.
"When lawyers raise the runaway corruption in the courts, the shortage of judges, the delay in rulings and judgment or abandonment of buildings by cowboy contractors who were paid tens of Millions for work not done and buildings left abandoned, JSC laughs at us because we have nobody to speak for us."
Ahmednasir who is a former member of the JSC lashed out at the commission saying they should stop treating lawyers with contempt.

He at the same time asked JSC to stop its tendency of protecting corrupt and thieving judges from public scrutiny.
"That lawyers currently don't have representatives in the JSC should not be a ground to rundown the judiciary or define the JSC as a coterie of judges that look after the narrow interest of judges," he stated.
The Senior Counsel asked the Lawyer to elect a competent person who will address their interests in JSC when they conduct elections in February 2024.
"I am confident, lawyers will elect a representative who will push our agenda for a corruption-free judiciary with the same bravery, dedication and loyalty I did in 2011-2013," he said.
"As for lawyers...I have told you many times to elect competent representatives. Don't elect those who sleep on the job or go to bed with the judiciary asking for small favours."
