Kenya Railways Suspends Train Services in These Routes

The Kenya Railways on Wednesday, December 20, suspended train services in several routes ahead of the festive season. 

In a statement to newsrooms, Nairobi commuter rail services to Ruiru, Embakasi Village, Limuru, Lukenya, and Syokimau have all been suspended. 

The train services have been halted from 21st December 2023 until 2nd January 2024. 

Kenya Railways has also highlighted the train services that will remain available during this period, here is the full list; 

Kenya Railways Corporation has not explained why the services have abruptly been halted.
