The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 532 job opportunities across eight ministries and state departments.  

In an advertisement dated Tuesday, May 14, the commission invited qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions detailing the qualifications and application process. 

“Applications are invited from qualified persons for the positions shown below. The details of the posts and mode of application can be accessed on the Commission's website www.publicservice.go.ke," read part of the advert.

Among the ministries and state departments with vacant positions were Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Medical Services, Internal Security and National Administration, Defence, Co-operatives, Environment and Climate Change, Labour and Skill Development, and Asals and Regional Development.

PSC announced one position in the Broadcasting and Telecommunications state department while the Medical Services state department had 22 positions, with the most senior being the Deputy Director of General for Health.

Other positions in the remaining departments can be accessed through the commission's website, i.e www.publicservice.go.ke.

Qualified candidates were asked to apply online using the PSC website or job portal before June 4, 2024.

“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the Commission website; www.publicservice.go.ke or jobs portal: www.pscjobs.go.ke so as to reach the Commission on or before 4th June 2024 (latest 5pm East African Time),” PSC stated.

The commission also announced the cancellation of 117 vacancies in the Internal Security National Administration state department and asked those who had applied to re-apply.
