Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi has fired back at UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malalah after he was censured over his recent attacks against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
In a statement via X on Wednesday, May 29 Sudi termed Malalah an elevated MCA who is suffering from illusionary superiority.
“Elevated MCA suffering from illusory superiority, thinking he matches Raphael Tuju's caliber,” Sudi stated.
Malalah on Wednesday morning warned Sudi, his Githunguri counterpart Gathoni Wa Muchomba, and Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga over what he termed as indiscipline.
Addressing the media at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) Malalah said the UDA Party would take disciplinary action against the three leaders if they continue with their ‘indecent behavior’.

“I specifically address recent public sentiments and actions of Githungari Member of Parliament Gathoni Wa Muchomba, Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi and Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahige. Your recent conduct not only undermines the party’s unity but abo disrespects the leadership that you pledged to serve.
“Let this be a stem warning: desist from such actions with immediate effect. Should this behavior persist, the party will take disciplinary action against you,” Malala warned.
On Sunday, May 26 Sudi told off DP Gachagua after the latter claimed that a section of Rift Valley politicians were interfering with the leadership of Mt Kenya.
The Kapseret lawmaker maintained that nobody would control where he would go as he demanded respect from both the president and his deputy.
Sudi also pointed out that no one would threaten him saying he is used to threats.
"Let us respect each other. You cannot control where I go. If we all stayed in our respective constituencies then we would not be in government. We ask the President and his deputy to respect us. We can't allow them to come and harass small leaders," Sudi stated.
