KTN News senior political reporter Emmanuel Too has announced leaving the station.

Too took to the X social network to break the news.

He has been at the Standard Media Group-owned television for five years since 2019.

Too thanked his immediate former employer and colleagues for shaping his career for the long he was on the Mombasa Road-based media house.

"Some Personal news: Fellow citizens, today was my last day working for Standard Group PLC (KTN News). I thank God, the Company, all my managers and colleagues for the stories shared, connections made, and lessons learned over the past five years. See you soon! God bless," he tweeted.

Outgoing KTN reporter Emmanuel Too.

Too is an alumnus of the University of Kabianga, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations.

According to sources, the refined reporter is headed for Royal Media Services (RMS)'s flagship product, Citizen TV.

Through his final days at the Standard, Too proved his prowess, recently endearing himself to Kenyans with his special report on the pricey jet President William Ruto boarded to the United States.

The journalist dug deep to unearth the costs of the chartered aircraft after the government remained mum on the matter.

Too's report informed a debate among Kenyans, prompting responses from the president.
