President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua have scored a mean grade of D in the latest performance rating survey by Infotrak.
In the survey which was released on Monday, June 10, President Ruto dropped from 52% percent in March to a mean grade of 46 percent in May.
DP Gachagua on the other hand dropped from 48 percent in March 2024 to 42 percent in May.
According to the survey, President Ruto and DP Gachagua dropped their performance rating due to poor communication with Kenyans on what they are doing and poor handling of issues affecting Kenyans.

On the other hand, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki was ranked as the best-performing CS in the Kenya Kwanza government with 60 percent followed by his Sports counterpart Ababu Namwamba at 51 percent.
Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale tied third place with ICT CS Eliud Owalo and Environment CS Soipan Tuya with 50 percent.
Education CS Ezekiel Machogu came in the sixth spot with 47 percent and was followed by Alfred Mutua and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi who tied the seventh place with 47 percent.
Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi was ranked the worst performing CS with grade E (39) after Energy CS Davis Chirchir.
Other CSs who performed poorly were Public Service CS Moses Kuria, Labour CS Florence Bore, and Lands CS Alice Wahome.
The survey was conducted between May 23 and May 29 across all 47 counties and 8 regions in Kenya. It achieved a sample size of 1700 respondents
