The Goodluck Jonathan Foundation was established in 2015 by former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. 

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday evening, June 12 graced a state banquet in Nigeria.

The State banquet was hosted by Godwin Obaseki Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki in honor of the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation (GJF) in Benin City ahead of the scheduled GJF democracy dialogue.

The Goodluck Jonathan Foundation was established in 2015 by former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan and is dedicated to promoting democracy, peace, and transformative change across Africa. 

The retired President Kenyatta is expected to attend the democracy dialogue. 

"This year's dialogue, with the theme "Functional Education and Effective Political Leadership as a Panacea to Africa's Growth and Development," aims to bring together key political leaders, policymakers, and experts from across the continent.

"The discussions will focus on the crucial role of education and the recruitment of effective political leaders in achieving the development goals of African nations," Kenyatta said via his X account.
