It is clear that Kenyans want action and not dialogue - Kalonzo.

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has warned that Raila Odinga and other members of Azimio cannot be seen to be sanitizing the government.

In a statement on Wednesday, July 7, Kalonzo noted that he had listened to the public and it was clear Kenyans wanted action as opposed to dialogue.

The former vice president promised to inform Odinga of the same when they meet

"At the Wiper Party NEC earlier today, it was clear that Kenyans want action and not dialogue.  I'll tell Raila Odinga the same when we meet as Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party. We cannot be seen to be sanitizing the Ruto regime," remarked Kalonzo.

At the same time, Odinga seemed to acknowledge the sentiments of Kenyans noting that he had received the message that they don't want a handshake.

"I have been told by these leaders that you have said you do not want a handshake. The message has been received,” said the ODM leader," the former premier said via X platform.

The former Prime minister has received heavy criticism from Kenyans after announcing that they had agreed on dialogue as the way forward to solve the current issues facing the country.

“I am happy to confirm that we have had consultations and we have agreed that dialogue is the way forward out of the crisis we are having today in our country. We have agreed that we give people an opportunity to be heard, to express themselves to come out with the grievances which are ailing our country today so that a last solution can be found,” Raila stated.

Odinga's public announcement didn't sit well with Kenyans who criticized him for going to bed with the Government.
