Two people died and three others were injured after three vehicles were involved in a road accident along Southern Bypass on Tuesday, July 23.
Reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle, a trailer, lost control before swerving out of his lane and hitting another vehicle.
In photos seen by Nairobileo.co.ke on Tuesday morning, the vehicle could be seen engulfed in flames as it stalled on the road.
The Kenya Red Cross emergency response team was deployed to the scene.

"A road traffic incident involving three vehicles has occurred along the Southern Bypass, on the way to Lang'ata from Ole Sereni, Nairobi County. Response teams are en route to the scene," the Kenya Red Cross stated.
In a subsequent update, the Kenya Red Cross disclosed that the three people who had been critically injured were taken to the hospital.
Police responding to the incident helped clear the road to allow traffic to flow smoothly.
"Three people have been taken to the hospital, thanks to the efforts of a multi-agency response team. Scene cleared by the police," the Kenya Red Cross stated.
