Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has urged Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna to join forces with Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
In a statement via X on Thursday, July 25, Sudi said Sifuna should be free to form a formidable opposition with Kalonzo.
“Edwin Sifuna as a lawyer of high repute, feel free to enjoy your constitutional right and join Kalonzo Musyoka to build a formidable opposition,” said Sudi.
This comes after Sifuna claimed that ODM Cabinet Secretary nominees in President William Ruto's broad-based cabinet have no blessings of the Orange party.

Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV, Sifuna said the Raila Odinga-allied nominees were joining the government in individual capacities.
"Our ODM priorities have never changed. We are a pro-people party. They (ODM CS nominees) do not have the blessings of the party. The proposition that we gave a party is that they are going to join the government in their individual capacities and we don't begrudge them. I wish them well," Sifuna remarked.
The ODM Secretary General also said the nominees should tender their resignation letters before heading to the National Assembly for vetting.
"I expect that before they go for vetting I will receive resignation from their positions in the party. That is my expectation because the law is that they cannot go into cabinet as parties and members of political parties," he said.
The ODM members who were nominated to cabinet include; former Mombasa governor Hassan Joho (Ministry of Mining), former Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya (Co-operatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), Opiyo Wandayi (Energy) and nominated MP John Mbadi (National Treasury and Economic Planning).
