Lands Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome has revealed that she has a net worth of Sh327,650,000.
Appearing before the National Assembly Committee on Appointments on Thursday, August 1, at Parliament buildings, Wahome said the net worth is an accumulation of joint assents with her husband.
“My net worth is Sh327,650,000… When you vetted me Mr. Speaker the last time, I was worth Sh218,400,000,” said Wahome.
The Lands CS nominee explained that the net worth growth of 109 million was due to the appreciation in the value of her property in the last two years.
Wahome also disclosed that a tenant who was not paying rent to her rental property made a payment of Sh 14 million in March this year.

“It is just a few adjustments. It is the properties that have increased in terms of appreciation value and then there is one tenant that was not paying my family rent and they paid about Sh 14 million sometime in March,” Wahome explained.
Wahome was first nominated to the cabinet in 2022 by President William Ruto to serve as the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation.
The Head of State later moved her to the Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development docket where she served until the cabinet was dissolved last month.
President Ruto retained Wahome in the position when he announced his new broad-based government.
