A host of services under Safaricom's flagship M-Pesa product will be disabled on Saturday evening, October 26, through Sunday, October 27.
The telecommunication giant updated its clientele on the oncoming disruption occasioned by planned system maintenance.
The services to be disrupted are all top-up airtime services, Okoa Jahazi services, all bundle purchases via airtime and M-Pesa, all subscription services, postpaid payments, Sambaza, Bonga and SIM Swaps.
According to Safaricom, the disruption will be between Saturday 10pm and Sunday 5am.
"Other than for the services listed, all other services will remain available. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our services," Safaricom said in its statement.

Innovations have led to the activation of such customer-friendly products as M-Shwari, KCB M-Pesa, and Fuliza, which are making money through mobile service to attract more users.
The company recently marked its 24th year since its inception.
It announced it would refund the fee for the first Mpesa send money transaction for its customers on Wednesday, October 23.
In a statement, the telecommunications giant explained that the gesture was part of its celebration of the milestone.
