DCI disclosed that the body of Ayieko was recovered less than 400 meters from the suspect's house.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has arrested another suspect linked to the murder of former Wells Fargo Human Resource Manager Willis Ayieko.

In a statement on Friday, November 8, DCI disclosed that the suspect, Duncan Onyango,  was arrested at his hideout in Bondo Sub-County.

The directorate noted that the suspect was arrested after the conduction of a scene re-enactment with one of the previously arrested suspects who identified Onyango's house as the scene where Ayieko was tortured and killed.

"DCI detectives have arrested another suspect in connection with the murder of Wells Fargo HR Manager Willis Ayieko. Duncan Onyango, alias Otuch, was arrested at his hideout in Bondo sub-county.  

"The detectives investigating the case conducted a scene reenactment exercise with one of the previously arrested suspect, who identified the house of Duncan Onyango as the location where the victim was tortured and murdered," DCI explained.

The directorate disclosed that the body of the deceased was recovered less than 400 meters from the suspect's house, which is located in Luanda Doho, Kisa East, Kakamega County.

The suspect is in police custody for processing as he awaits arraignment.

On Tuesday, DCI arrested another suspect linked to the murder of the former Wells Fargo official.

The directorate noted that the suspect, Fredrick Otieno Omondi is alleged to have provided transport for other suspects in the incident to the location where Ayieko was abducted.

On Thursday, the family of Ayieko held a memorial service for the deceased at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.

The deceased will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 9, even as the family called for justice.
