The country's top political leaders are in Embu to attend an ordination fete of a Catholic bishop.
President William Ruto, deputy Kithure Kindiki, former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, and former president Uhuru Kenyatta were among the attendees of the Installation of Bishop-Elect Peter Kimani Ndung’u as the Catholic Bishop of Embu Diocese.
The event was held at the Embu University grounds on Saturday, November 16.
The function is being presided over by top clerics of the Catholic church in the country.

Importantly, Ruto met with top some of the Catholic church's top clerics who recently criticized his government over corruption, heavy taxation, abductions, and enforced disappearances perpetrated against civilians.
