The Moja Expressway Company has announced a traffic disruption on a section of the Nairobi Expressway due to an accident.
In a statement on Friday, November 29, the company disclosed that due to the accident involving a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) at the exit of the SGR station, the Mlolongo and Syokimau entrance toll stations are temporarily closed.
However, Moja Expressway maintained that its team was currently on site to control traffic and assured motorists of their safety.
"Please be advised that due to a PSV accident at the exit of SGR station, Mlolongo Entrance Toll Station and the Syokimau Entrance Toll Station (opposite Dinlas Pharma) are temporarily closed.
"Our team is currently on-site working to control traffic and assure a safe commute to all motorists. Motorists are advised to drive within the recommended speed of 80 km/h and observe lane discipline," read part of the statement.

On September 7, the Moja Expressway Company announced a temporary closure of the 27-km toll road.
In a statement, the company disclosed that the temporary closure was necessitated by the third edition of the Nairobi City Marathon.
"Please note that the Nairobi Expressway will be temporarily closed from Saturday, 7th September 2024 at 9:30 pm to pave way for the 3rd edition of the Nairobi City Marathon," read part of the statement.
Moja Expressway operates the Nairobi Expressway.
