The County Government has announced 200 internship positions in various Departments.
In an advert, the county government noted that the positions are available for Degree, Diploma, and Certificate holders who graduated from 2021.
It directed that interested applicants submit a hard copy of a filled Internship Application Form together with copies of all academic and professional certificates to The Secretary, Nyeri County Public Service Board Offices, P.O. Box 90-10100, Nyeri.

All applications, hand-delivered or through the post office, should be received on or before 20th December 2024, 5 PM.

The county government noted that any communication from the County Public Service Board shall be through the provided address and cell phone.
Additionally, it noted that the County Public Service Board does not charge for any recruitment exercises, and any request for payment or favour should be reported to the Board or the police.
Further, the county government has urged persons living with disability, marginalized, and minorities to apply.
It also stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Board.
The available internship positions include 5 at the Governor's Office, Department of County Public Service and Solid Waste Management (10), County Public Service Management (10), Department of Education and Devolution (22) and Department of Agriculture, Livestock, and Aquaculture Development (24).
Others are the Department of Water, Irrigation, Environment and Climate Change (20), Gender, Youth, Sports and Social services (20), Lands Physical Planning and Urban Development (18), Health Services (22), Finance, Economic Planning and ICT (17) and Transport, Public Works, Infrastructure and Energy (23).
Additionally, the county government announced 9 internship positions at the Trade, Tourism, Culture and Co-operative Development Department.
