Agriculture CS nominee Mutahi Kagwe has revealed that he is worth Ksh842 million.
Speaking during his vetting in Parliament on Tuesday, January 14, Kagwe detailed that he had accumulated his wealth over the years having invested in various sectors.
As detailed by the CS nominee, he has investments in the real estate industry. He also owns parcels of land in various parts of the country.
"I am worth Ksh842 million. Essentially, my wealth is in assets, real estate and pieces of land here and there accumulated over the years," he stated.

Notably, between 2020 and 2024, Kagwe's networth has grown by Ksh174.2 million.
In 2020, after his nomination as the Health CS, Kagwe detailed to Parliament that he was worth Ksh667.8 million.
“I am worth what I am worth as a result of my hard work. I started doing feasibility studies in my room at Hall 2 at the University of Nairobi and for over 40 years I must have made some money,” he stated.
If approved, Kagwe will be among the richest members of President William Ruto's Cabinet.
Currently, the richest members of the Cabinet include Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi (Ksh4 billion) and Mining CS Hassan Joho (Ksh2.3 billion).
