Kapsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has revealed that there were three impeachment plans against former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Speaking in a video posted on his social media pages on Monday, January 20, Sudi detailed that the three attempts to impeach Gachagua were foiled after the intervention of President William Ruto and his allies.
According to the lawmaker, Ruto stopped the first two impeachment plans initiated against his then-deputy.
Sudi added that the current occupant of the DP's office, Kithure Kindiki, and Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah also intervened when there was a third attempt.

"When the first impeachment was brought, the President returned it. The second one was brought and the President also returned it.
"When the third one was brought, Kindiki, Ichung'wah and myself among others intervened," he alleged.
On the other hand, Sudi called out Gachagua for claiming that Ruto used to instruct him on what to say during public events.
The MP expressed that the recent comments by Gachagua were only aimed at eliciting emotions and creating differences among Kenyans.
"All those things that removed you from that seat were personal. You know what you demanded and it was not possible. Very soon all the lies will be known." Sudi remarked.
"You are claiming that the president was writing for you down what to say. Surely, even if Kenyans are stupid, do you want to say that Ruto has been writing for you what to say? I used to be your biggest supporter and I warned you against your inexperience and rushed ambitions."
