ODM Msambweni by-election loser Omar Boga has landed a new government job.
Boga has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Coast Water Works Development Agency (CWWDA).
The appointment is contained in a gazette notice published on Friday, 26, by Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation Sicily Kariuki.
The appointment comes barely a few months after losing the seat to Feisal Bader.
Under the new role, Boga will serve for three years.

At the board, Boga will be charged with overseeing the provision of efficient and economical water and sanitation services to the people of the Coast Region.
In his bid to the next MP, Boga conceded defeat to Feisal in a hotly contested election.
"I take this time to congratulate Mheshimiwa Feisal Bader for the victory. I wish him all the best. I want to thank the people who voted for both Feisal and me for the commitment they showed throughout the campaign. There were a few issues here and there but our focus is on the people of Msambweni," he stated.
Boga garnered 10,444 votes against Feisal's 15,251 votes.
The seat was left vacant by the unfortunate death of former MP Suleiman Dori.
