Health CAS Dr Mercy Mwangangi on Wednesday announced that 1,412 more people have tested positive for Covid-19 from 9,219 samples tested in the last 24 hours.

Kenya recorded 389 recoveries and 6 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health.

On matters of vaccine, the country has vaccinated 67,605 healthcare workers, 11,597 security officers and 19,094 teachers.

This brings the total caseload to 134,058 infections in the country as the death-toll hits 2,153.
