Should the new dates be adopted, candidates and all other
pupils will have a slight delay in the educational calendar, but will not repeat
classes as had earlier been indicated.
All schools were closed in March after the country confirmed
positive corona virus cases in the country.
The Ministry of Education rolled out online classes but that
has not been very effective as some students come from remote areas with no
access to electricity.
This new development also indicates that the country may soon
be re-opened fully, since opening of schools is the major aspect that was still
pending.
