38-year-old businessman Evans Karani has allegedly confessed to the gruesome murder of Catherine Nyokabi adding that he has no regrets whatsoever.
Karani, who was the primary suspect, narrated to the police how he planned and executed her murder on April 14, before dumping her body in a bush at Witeithie, Kiambu County.
Police reports reveal that he planned to kill her after catching wind that she had an affair on the side.

He allegedly told the police that he had invited Nyokabi to wine and dine with him, as they solve their relationship issues. He bought her favourite wine.
They had drinks in his car and when she became intoxicated, he strangled her with his belt.
Karani drove to Tola Estate to dispose of the body, but his car got stuck in mud near Bob Harris area.
He allegedly chopped up the body and attempted to cover it with mud so it would be consumed by wild animals.
Nyokabi's father Gitonga Njogu in an interview with Citizen TV revealed that Karani was well known to their family. However, their relationship took a turn in the wrong direction when they established he has five children.
"He came to my home many times and we even know his car. He even visited the deceased's grandmother. When we saw his true standing, Nyokabi had reservations about getting married to him.
"When she tried to leave him, he just kept following her. It seems he committed the act because he had been rejected," Njogu stated.
Nyokabi was a mother of one.
