Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday seemed to disagree with ODM Leader Raila Odinga during Madaraka Day Celebrations at Gusii Stadium, Kisii County.
The former premier announced that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) rallies would resume and were on half time due to Covid-19.
"BBI was launched here in Kisii, we will go to Kakamega, Mombasa, Narok and other parts of the Country. BBI was on half time during COVID-19 we will now move to other parts of the Country because nobody can stop reggae," Odinga told the gathering.
Immediately, the DP took to the podium, he responded to the former Prime Minister stating that on the 'reggae' resumption, it would have to bring all Kenyans on board.
"I guess we will have a robust national conversation on reggae that will bring everyone on board," the DP mentioned.

Odinga has been mobilizing support for BBI which is expected to be handed to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
On the other hand, Ruto has cast his aspersions on the BBI stating that the conversations need to be about the hustler nation and not positions.
The BBI report is expected to be made public once the President receives it.
