Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has hit out at his opponents questioning his eloquence in speaking English, asking them to sell their agenda instead.
Speaking in an event in Soy, Uasin Gishu county, the outspoken MP dismissed claims that he is illiterate noting that he only speaks English when doing serious business.
Sudi asked his opponents to give him business deals worth Sh5 million if they want to hear him speak fluent English.
"Unajua naskia hawa watu wakisema Sudi hajui kuongea kingereza. Ukitaka kuskia nikiongea kingereza, leta mtu wa biashara bora ni zaidi ya milioni tano utaskia kiingereza nitoangea. Unaongea kingereza bure kwani wews ni wazimu?" He posed.
The lawmaker then asked his opponents to focus on selling their agenda to the people instead of taking issue with his fluency in English.
